We took a day trip to Crescent Bar in search for some warm weather on Saturday. Hailey loves the boat! We asked what her favorite part is, and she said "going fast"! She's a little trooper and doesn't even put up a fight when we put her in the life jacket...she actually took a nice little nap in it; makes for a good pillow.

Emma tore her ACL a little over a month ago and we've been waiting to see if she was going to need surgery or not... well she did. We found out there is a Vet who performs the surgery super cheap in Astoria, OR. So Joe & I took a little road trip - while Hailey gladly spent the day at Grandma & Poppy's house. We had some time to kill (6hrs) so played tourist on this beautiful, sunny day.
First stop: The Goonie's house of course!

Then it was off to pick up Emma. She did great! They inserted a synthetic ligament in her knee and she should be as good as new in a couple of months. We are thinking Hailey won't be in the medical field when she grows up; she is a tad freaked out by Emma's stitches.
