Hailey's 2nd cousin Koben came to play last week. We were pretty happy that Hailey didn't scream and scare Koben off like she usually does. We hope that these two follow in our footsteps by fighting, biting, loving & sticking up for each other.

Last Wednesday the infamous Jocelyn came over to take Hailey's 1 year pictures. She took some in our yard and downtown Snohomish by the river & in town. She has an eye for shots I would never even think of. Thanks again Joc, we absolutely love the pictures! Can't wait for the next photo shoot! :) I'd do one every month if Joe would let me.

the zoo

Hailey received a gift card to woodland park zoo for her birthday from our good friends Jeanne & Tadg. We thought it was such a cool gift idea. We contemplated waiting until she was a little older but I was just too excited to go. Even though she won't remember the trip she still seemed to like seeing and pointing at all the animals. She kept saying "woof, woof", apparently they were all dogs in her eyes. petting zoo

Oops! I didn't even realize I got a shot of this; Joe & I both ran to grab her when she fell, I must have hit the button just in time. We couldn't help but laugh when we saw this one. And Hailey was fine once we got her back up on her feet.

her very own couch; I got this so she can sit and drink her bottles on her own. Which by the way, she's now drinking just whole milk, yeah! But still out of the bottle... so that's my next challenge. So far it hasn't been pretty. She loves drinking water out of her sippy. But milk, she throws the cup along with a complete tantrum.... wish me luck.

since it's been so nice she loves going out on the deck
