Yesterday when I was taking Hailey's picture I managed to capture a few of her many expressions...

just a matter of time...

and she'll be walking, yikes! She seems to get into everything she's not supposed to while crawling... I can't imagine what she'll manage to get her little paws on when she's vertical! (I realize how annoying I sound... I'll just try not to talk while I record from now on) :)

On another note Hailey had her 9 month check up today and she seems to be quite healthy; here are her stats:

28 1/2 inches tall - 90%

weighing in at 20lbs 160z - 80%

and her head is 17 1/2 inches - 77%

9 months

Only 3 more months and she'll be ONE! The saying "time flies when you're having fun" hasn't held more true! As excited as I am for her first birthday I'm beginning to wish we could rewind time a few months, maybe just right to the point where she started sleeping through the night. When she was just a little less sassy, vocal, and immobile. But at the same time I can hardly wait for her to say her first words (sass or not) and take her first steps. There isn't a day that goes by where she doesn't bring big smiles to our faces. I find myself asking "what in the world would we do with out her"?

Hailey's first Valentine!

A package addressed to Hailey Hinton arrived this morning containing this adorable little bear and flowers. The card reads "I hope you have a great 1st Valentine's Day. I'm glad that you are my friend Hailey! I hope we get to play together soon. Love, Baker Basel". How sweet is that? Thanks Baker... you're quite the gentleman. Hailey is saving a kiss for when she sees you next!

It was time to move the mattress down. I don't think Hailey can tell the difference, but I sure did at about 2am when I went in to put her binky back in and could hardly reach down there to feel around for it.
