Hailey took her first plane ride to Pennsylvania to visit my Mom's side of the family. She did great on the trip over... can't say the same for the ride home, but we survived...
We had 11 days of fun with family, it went by way too fast. Hailey loved playing with all of her 2nd & 3rd cousins & being spoiled by her Great Aunts & Uncles, not to mention her Nan & Pop.

during take off... right after this picture was taken she said "wee", so she really wasn't as terrified as she looks.

tid-bits from our trip:
- It snowed pretty much the entire time we were there, we were delayed one day due to a snow storm. We had to drive 2 hrs to Philadelphia in order to leave on Saturday
- 8 of us got a 24 hr stomach flu including Hailey, my Mom & myself (mine was the day we left)
- Catholicism is huge back there, I've never seen so many people out & about with ashes on their forheads on Ash Wednesday. Even Kentucky Fried CHICKEN advertises fish specials on TV for Lent
- One of my favorite childhood memories of visiting is every Sunday my Nan & Pop make spaghetti & the best homemade meatballs for the family at their house. We were lucky enough to be there for one during our stay
- It was interesting to see how many people (including two of my uncles) had snow plows on the front of their trucks and were out plowing roads & driveways
- We all went out to dinner to Nan's favorite seafood restaurant to celebrate her 75th birthday!! (She's going to kill me for posting this)
