Harper's 4 month check up

You are a smiley little thing.  Dad calls you "little boop".  He got you to giggle a couple of weeks ago while Hailey & I were out running errands.  You are not rolling over, but almost.  You drool - a lot!  You suck on your fingers.  You like tummy time.  You have a favorite toy - the bug.  You like being upright - standing, exersaucer, jumper.  You don't really care for the swing or bumbo.  You'd let us hold you all day if we could.  You LOVE your sister & the feeling is definitely mutual.  She's still a great helper and enjoys playing with you and making sure that you are happy.  You eat 4oz every 2 hours during the day (craziness) and have about a 9 hour stretch of sleep before waking up to eat again, then go back to sleep for another couple of hours.  You always wake up happy.  The Doc said you may be eating smaller more frequent meals during the day to self sooth, due to reflux.  She suggested starting you on rice cereal to see if that helps.  Hailey gave you your first bites of rice cereal and couldn't have been happier to do so.  You weren't that interested as expected, but we will keep trying in hopes that it will help.

flower girl

Hailey was asked to be the flower girl in The Lewis' wedding with their boy "Lucas the Lewis" (as Hailey likes to call him.) The ceremony was held at Kerry Park, even though it was cold & windy... it really was the perfect Seattle Fall day. Hailey loved her role as flower girl... I'm so happy she got to be part of it.  These two were pretty cute together in their black & white.
