Mt Baker

We spent two nights with Grandma & Poppy at a cabin in Glacier. We didn't go snowboarding, but did some sledding and made the best of our little winter getaway. It was Harper's first time in the snow and even though she had a look of uncertainty at times, she was pretty content being all bundled up. Hailey especially loved holding her on the sled.

7 months

We've been enjoying every minute with you Miss Harper, even those in the wee, wee hours of the night.

at 7 months you are quite the busy bee.  rolling both ways, rocking on your hands & knees, going from your knees to sitting, grabbing anything & everything in sight.  Last night I came in to feed you and you were sitting up in your crib.  Time to move down the mattress because you try to pull yourself up, but still need our help.  Your favorite is standing and holding onto things.  Everyone keeps telling me I'm going to be in trouble, I'm afraid they are right.

6 months!

No way.  Time is flying, but we sure are having fun.  Harper Olivia... you are a little sweetie, always smiling.  You can sit up but still fall a lot when trying to reach the furthest toy.  You like toys that make noise when you shake them or bang together - favorite.. your keys.  Everything goes into your mouth.  You drool buckets, always wearing a bib.  Favorite station is the johnny jumper, you jump like it's your job.  You roll front to back.  You spit up, a lot.  You love watching your sister, and hearing you two giggle together is the best sound in the world.  You don't mind the car as much these days (knock on wood).  I personally think Christmas music is the trick.  You average 5-6 hours at night, apparently this is "sleeping through the night", but not in my book.  You've had peas, carrots and sweet potatoes.  You don't respond to your name yet, but I blame Dad for that since he's got us all calling you "boop".
