Harper had her well visit yesterday. She kept busy climbing up and down the mini sized chairs while we waited for the dr., so proud of herself each time she got herself up. Harper is a go-getter, always trying to keep up with her sister. She's trying to say all kinds if words, and usually gets the first part down. A few examples:
Buh = book
Bir = Bird
Bah = Ball
Shish = Sis
The rest of what we hear out of Harper is lots of yelling when she insists on being heard, which is most of the time.
She still has only 6 teeth but is working on #7. She wakes up super happy and should since she is a champion sleeper...sleeping 12-14 hours at night and still two naps a day. Hailey tells me how much she loves Harper and how she is the cutest baby ever, several times a day. Hailey makes Harper laugh more than anyone. But Harper isn't afraid to let her know when she's had enough "love" aka smothering. This is a constant battle for us, I feel like all day I'm saying "Hailey, put your sister down", "Get out of her face", "Leave her alone please, she doesn't like that"... Hailey's response is always "but I just love her so much, she is just so darling, I can't help it!" I call her Pepe Le Pugh.
Hailey has even made up a song about how she doesn't want to go to school because she'll miss her baby sister. On that note, Harper and I have been enjoying our 3 hours a day alone together.
