Growing baby girl

Hailey had her 1 month dr appointment yesterday and she is doing great. Thankfully no shots this time, she'll get some at 2 months. Here are her stats:
Weight: 10 lbs 11.25 oz - 90%
Height: 21.75 in - 75%
Head: 38 cm - 75%

As you can see she's been smiling quite a bit... I wish I had my camera out for all of her little smiles.

Happy Father's Day!

Hailey got all dressed up for Joe's first Father's Day! Uncle Tommy hosted a delicious steak dinner at his place. Grandma, Poppy and Great Grandma were there to celebrate Father's Day and Joe's birthday. Hailey was on her best behavior and even gave a few smiles.

The dress didn't last long... but it was sure cute while it lasted.

I'm getting the hang of this blogging thing...

We've taken lots of pics this week and I couldn't resist sharing them. And I just have to say I must be showing my age because today while at Papa Murphy's picking up a pizza the girl (who was clearly in high school) that was making my pizza called me Ma'am... twice!! Now if Hailey was with me and she saw that I was a Mom then I probably wouldn't think twice about it, but Hailey was at home with Joe. Oh the joys of getting older. On that note, Joe is turning 29 this Wednesday and is looking forward to celebrating his first Father's Day! This time last year we were planning and anxiously awaiting our wedding day. It's amazing how time flies when you're having fun... and a baby! :)

While Daddy was out mowing the lawn we played a little dress up... which apparently tuckered her out.

We went shopping and bought Hailey a play mat which she seemed to really enjoy...

Just kidding, it must be pretty boring.

Just chillin' in my big girl clothes (0-3 months)

Hailey's boyfriend Callahan came for a visit...

And with a little help from his Dad, Cal's already trying to feel her up.

Hailey made the cut... (Marnae doesn't hold just any baby)

We couldn't resist the nice weather today and took a little stroll... with Emmabear in tow of course.

3 weeks old!

Here are some pics from this past week. Grandma Donna came for a long visit which helped us out a lot. She cleaned our house, cooked and helped run errands. All of the things I haven't found the time to do in the past few weeks. I was even able to go get my hair cut while she stayed home with Hailey. And when we didn't have her put to work we let her play with her Grandaughter... :)
We also had our first sleep over at Grandma & Grandpa Hinton's house where Hailey got a visit from Betty Ann & Andrea Clancy. Hailey did great, it's like we never left home. And you would never know we did leave home by looking at all the stuff we had to pack up and bring with us!
Hailey has been very alert and focusing in on things a lot more this past week. And even though it's probably just gas I'm almost convinced she's starting to smile. We started feeding her 4 oz bottles, which has been so nice (especially at night) since she'll sleep about 3 hours rather than 2! I'll take all the extra sleep I can get.

Uncle Tommy finally got to hold me!

Recent Pics

Saturday night we bravely ventured out to Teriann's 30th birthday party. Hailey did great! She slept through all of the noise... even through a Michael Jackson record! She woke up so Grandpa John could feed her then she was down for the count again.
I love my Aunt Teriann & Aunt Jane

Thanks for visiting Aunt Marci!

The Clancy's (practice makes perfect...)

Good stuff Grandpa John!

I sure love my Daddy

I'm free! From being swaddled at least...

2 weeks

After almost a week of Joe not being able to come in contact with Hailey, we found out yesterday from the Dr. that we didn't have to quarantine him after all. Apparently babies have enough antibodies at this point that the chances of her getting sick are pretty slim. We were both happy to hear that. Joe couldn't keep his hands off her, and when we got home from our appointment I took full advantage and took a much needed 3 hour nap!

Hailey will be 2 weeks tomorrow, we can't believe it! Her life still consists of eating, sleeping & pooping. She's eating about every 2 hours and we better have that bottle ready for her when she wakes up or we hear about it. She sure is precious, we are enjoying every minute with her.
