first trip to pullman

We showed Hailey where she'll be living in about 18 years. We shared a mini-van and hotel with the Hunters... I'm pretty sure Julie & Ian's next purchase will be a mini-van; they fell in love with it! Can't blame them, they are very roomy, great on gas, not to mention if you sit in the very back you may just get a mild case of car sickness. We had a great time and look forward to many more road trips to Pullman with The Hunters (in their new mini-van)!

little drummer girl

While Joe was at the Hawks game on Sunday, we went to visit Uncle Tommy. He gave Hailey her first drum lesson. Hailey loved listening to him play! Who knows she may make it big someday?

all about hailey

Hailey had her 4 month check up with her new Dr on Friday. We just weren't pleased with her old one so we are now at Woodinville Pediatrics. I just have to say the difference is unreal and we are very pleased with the switch. Hailey was a little character in the waiting room, she kept letting out little yells to make sure her presence was known. I was a little nervous for the tummy time test. But Hailey miraculously lifted herself right up when the doc placed her on her stomach. It didn't last long before she buried her face in the table and started yelling, but I did warn her that she hates it and the doc still seemed pleased! Hailey got an A+ for effort from me... it's more than she does at home!
She's growing like a weed and is doing just fine - here are her stats:
25.125 in long - 80%
15 lbs 15 oz - 90%

Oh, and we got the go ahead to try rice cereal. We tried it at my parents house this weekend. First we tried it in a bottle, but it was too thick for the nipple. So we mixed it in a bowl and she loved it. But it just wasn't filling her up fast enough so we ended up giving her a regular bottle.

4 months old

Miss Hailey is 4 months today! I say it every month but I really can't believe how fast time has gone by! Some things you don't get to see in the pictures that she's been doing lately are: laughs, blows bubbles, growls like a lion cub, and trying to sit up. She hasn't rolled over yet, and I don't think she's even close. She hates tummy time with a passion, she just lies there like a lump and screams until I give in and turn her over. I'm sure the dr will have something to say about that when we go in on Friday for her check up. She also loves to listen to and dance (with some help from us of course) to any music, but she especially likes Jack Johnson!

She thought it was pretty funny when I sang happy birthday to her this morning.
