we've finally got a tooth at 8 months!

It poked through this afternoon sometime. I checked this morning and it wasn't there, then Joe checked when he got home and there the little bugger was! It's the left, lower front; the one that we've patiently been waiting for! I'll work on getting a picture.

Hailey turned 8 months on Saturday. She's been scooting around on her tummy only she goes backwards. I'm convinced she's going to go straight to walking. She's been standing up hanging on to her exersaucer or the couch and thinks it's the coolest thing ever. And her latest thing is holding onto our hands and walking anywhere and everywhere she can; she yells when you stop and set her down. She just started to pull her self up when on her knees.

Hailey & I went to meet Aunt Jane and her friend Jen for lunch on Friday at Third Place Commens. We thought it would be fun to have our picture taken in the same booth Joe & I used for our wedding save the dates. I think we'll have to make this a tradition. I wonder if Hailey will love the photobooth as much as I did when I was young.

Before Thanksgiving we had Hailey's 6 months photos taken by the very talented Jocelyn. She kindly didn't post them until after Christmas as they were gifts for the family (who often check her blog). Hailey's first Christmas couldn't have been more perfect, especially with all the snow. We continued our tradition of spending the eve with the Hinton's and the day with the Pesacreta's. Hailey must have been a very good girl the past 7 months, she made out like a little burglar!

I don't know why, but I just can't get over that it's been 7 months already! Time sure does fly when you're having fun... and fun is an understatement of what the last 7 months have been. The past couple of days have shown all the signs of her first tooth coming! I'm expecting it to pop out any minute now... stay tuned! Here are a few of my favorites from the past couple of weeks.
